The film chronicles how the divisive but vital energy industry impacts the lives of many Houston residents, specifically Black and disenfranchised communities, which includes Alex’s family, who arrived in Texas in the 1830s as slaves and have stayed in the state for nearly 200 years.
The show premieres Feb 27th on MAX and Feb 28th on HBO.
