MSW Candidate
I am currently in an MSW program. This is my last year, but I’ve been having so much anxiety around my qualifications and obtaining an internship. While I am passionate and learning so much, I feel like I don’t know nearly as much as I should. Now, I’m in a space where I want to consume as much as I can from black social workers. I started at the beginning of this podcast just to see what space the host intended to create. Needless to say, I’m obsessed. Without knowing it, I feel more empowered by listening to a black social worker. I also feel empowered to start my podcast I felt so unqualified to start. I haven’t even tapped the surface, but thank you for your passion, knowledge, and ability to relate so heavily to your audience. ❤️

How many times can someone say like? I wanted to listen to her “Us” movie recap but it took over 14 minutes into the podcast to get into it.
