Black&a Sister/Brother Podcast
April and Johnathan are a joy to listen to. They are thoughtful, authentic, passionate, intelligent, committed citizens, activists and professionals who talk about real life racist, anti racist, and sociological issues that African Americans live and die with every day. They frequently have guests discussing these issues and their personal and work experiences in wading through them, working for and implementing changes. I really like that all of their podcasts end with a call to action for listeners—trying a new interaction or gesture, getting involved in or starting a community action, no matter how small can shift a person’s perspective, and compel us to do better and to do more. I finally realize that I need to learn more, do more—now. I highly recommend listening to this intelligent and accessible podcast.
