Partisan, but brilliant
I originally wrote this review giving this podcast 3 stars saying that while I liked the way Clark uses facts and figures to support every one of his arguments he was far too partisan for my taste. At that time I had listened to around fifteen shows. My criticisms were that Clark only goes after the low hanging fruit of right wing thinkers. He never focuses on the fact that while left wing ideology opposes many of the horrors he speaks of left wing politicians are corrupt just as right wingers are and commit the same attrocities. I've now listened to about fifty shows and all of these criticisms remain just as true as when I first wrote them. The reason this review has changed from three stars to five stars is how brilliantly Clark argues certain topics. Several shows have redefined my opinions on health care, and western exploitation of the third world as well as several other issues. Shows on subjects such as torture and economic equality in united states have upped my understanding and arsenal on issues I already agreed with him on. I must ignore clarks attributing all of these issues to the right wing(almost exclusively) but the knowledge I have gained from listening to this show in the form of facts and figures is invaluable. If you can suffer through the partisan nature of the show, and you damn well should, then get to downloading one of the best political podcasts on the internet.

More reviews of BLAST THE RIGHT
Finally a point of view that is rational, intelligent and fact based. Jack Clark does a great job at exposing the right wing element for what they are. This podcast should be required listening for all Americans!

I wanted to hear a random sampling of progressive/left/democratic podcasts so picked up several; this was one. Of all the ones I've heard, Jack's "----Blast the Right----" is the probably most fair. He puts up front his sources, listing blogs, podcasts, newspapers or tv shows, and proceeds to...Read full review »

A vast majority of Jack Clark's podcasts are on issues related to social justice, and bravo for that. There is too little public voice in this area, and while I suppose a podcast with just over 2000 subscribers isn't exactly speaking to the teeming masses, it's good to hear somebody standing up...Read full review »
