“Mr. Clark is using his mastery of double standards to try to deceive you.
Almost every administration since Kennedy has used torture when American lives are at stake, INCLUDING CLINTON!
I am insulted and if you bought his pitch in Episode 98, you should feel very insulted too.
Be careful not to drink his Cool Aid! In Mr. Clark's last attempt to arm the progressive-minded with facts to "Blast Right-Wingers" he demonstrates how far he is willing to spin the facts. In Episode 98, Enhanced Interrogations: Right-Wingers Eagerly Embrace Soviet Torture Methods, he lays out a carefully plotted indictment of the Bush Administration's use of torture and its moral equivalency to Cold War era Soviet tactics. Put simply, the Bush Administration is as bad as a communist government because they used torture like the Soviets did. It would be difficult to convince you of this if he told you the complete truth! Clinton did it too! In fact, the Bush Administration is carrying out their use of "torture" under a presidential directive dating back to the Clinton Administration! In response to the first attack on the World Trade Center in February of 1993 the Clinton Administration used testimony of Abdul Hakim Murad to convict Ramzi Yousef. His testimony was obtained in The Philippine's under torture. The event and others like it are well documented. Where is Mr. Clark's moral outrage at Clinton?
He knows better. He thinks we don't. He thinks he can fool us.
Don't be suckered!
Question everything Jack Clark has to say.
Don't drink the Cool Aid!
Jack Clark, I am watching you!”
