“Please help me understand! How are we supposed to understand what you all want from the sympathetic and empathetic white person? I feel like no matter what I try it is wrong! I thought I was empathetic, but I was wrong! I want us to heal together! I guess our “white privilege is real! I live in Maine, which has been labeled as “the whitest state” in our nation! This makes me ignorant on so many levels! It also make me “ignorantly” acceptable? Of ALL? Please help me understand what I am doing wrong! I love all humans!
