Best Rugby Podcast of the Lot. But...
Very funny and balanced and brilliantly manages to promote rugby while completely railing against the terrible tropes (“spirit of rugby” and “lads lads lads”) that are held up by so many (including other unnamed inexplicably popular podcasts) as the reason the game is great. Lee is very fair and has a half-decent singing voice which he will use whether you want him to or not. Knocked down to four stars, unfortunately, because of the unending “woe is me” entitlement espoused by co-host Josh on a weekly basis. Reminder: Wales have 4 Six Nations titles (3 grand slams) and a World Cup semi final since 2005. In that time the Ospreys have 4 Celtic League wins, a runner-up spot and made 3 semi-finals. He cannot be blamed for inheriting the arrogance that leads him to complain weekly about how nobody has it as bad, but it remains incredibly grating.

Josh sometimes sounds like his batteries are running out! Like the remote control car of Miles Dysons son in Terminator 2 just before Sarah Connor gets all shooty shooty bang bang! Someone give him a redbull!

It pains me to admit it but these two are good. They're funny, they surprisingly don't judge too much, have entertaining rants and *occasionally* know what they're talking about. Sometimes they even talk about rugby.Read full review »
