I just want this to be read out on episode 69
I’ve been waiting since episode 1 to review this pod, but had to wait for the right moment. Given most of the pop culture references on the pod are 80s and 90s themed, I imagine “69 dude!” will be an important moment for both Lee and Josh. It’s an honour to be referred to as a “friend of the pod” which covers all your Brew-approved, Sean Holley-singing, anti-Exeter-racisming, Twelvetrees-worrrying, dirty-getting, Dai Young-riffing, Rhys Webb’s hair-worshipping rugby news, opinion and nonsense that highlights the game’s positives and pours condescending scorn and sweaty metaphors on its negatives. It’s basically a rugby club for people who don’t like people who go to rugby clubs. You know the type? They’ve got their real ale, bags of this and that, they approve of headdresses and Haskell, kids called Caspian and enjoy beating the ‘Colonials’ in ‘rugger’. Obviously Lee, you don’t have to read out this entire review on the show, I’m just showering you (and you in particular, I think I’ve previously made my opinions on Josh crystal clear) with praise worthy of this 5-star review. Unlike Bath you have no Brew, yet still have a clue.

If you like rugby particularly based in the Northern Hemisphere you will enjoy this. Funny, insightful and balanced. It does not take itself to seriously. It is for adults so don't listen kids and James Haskell.Read full review »

Fantastic rugby podcast as long as you're not James Haskell, Keith Earls or Rob Howley. If you have kids you'll need to buy ear phones it'll be money well spent.Read full review »

Been a fan for a year or so and it's still a top listen. Others have said it's like listening in on a couple of fellas down the pub talking about rugby and indeed it is. My recent discovery was to listen at 1/2 speed. They now sound like two blokes down the pub who've been on the pop...Read full review »
