Audio quality is poor and hosts are odd choice.
The quality of the news itself is good and I like the span of topics they discuss but I can’t get over these three things. 1) Audio quality is so low. Why am I hearing so much room reverb and A/C units from the lead woman in New York? Why is everybody buzzy? Why do the guest speakers have a robot dual pitch like AM radio? Why do I hear pens clicking and shirts brushing and bracelets clanking? Need to step up their game. 2) The theme song drives me nuts. Anxiety inducing and the section where it dives into a rave is so over the top and leaning into the tech bro club vibe. I have to turn it down every time. And then 3) I find it so odd that an American news/data company speaking about mostly American technology and business is hosted by two British anchors. Makes me feel like Bloomberg thinks I’m fooled that they’re a smarter news source because they have Brits. I also find their specific British accents very cutting and unpleasant to listen to. Anyway, at least have one American anchor... the casting choice feels like they’re trying to pull the wool over our eyes for some reason and makes me distrust them.

Love the high information density of this show, but that dubstep-adjacent music is so awful I often skip listening altogether.

I had found certain parts of what I had believed to had been this "Bloomberg Technology" to had been vulgar, unnecessary, unprofessional, and detirmental (specifically certain parts that could be described as having had been certain forms of profanity).Read full review »
