Great Show for all Bourbon Lovers
While this podcast sells itself as a “blue collar” show, it really is a show that is appealing to all bourbon lovers. What is unique about this show is that the hosts blindly try and critique affordable bourbons every week. However, affordable doesn’t mean bottom shelf swill. The blind tastings and amusing critiques from three “common Joe” bourbon lovers removes all of the bias and results in introducing true bourbon fans to some great juice they would have otherwise passed over. While other PCs seem to kiss up to the major distilleries or provide sampling notes that most people can’t relate to, this show is completely the opposite. Frankly, listening to this show is practically like sitting at the table with a few of your buddies and enjoying bourbon’s greatness without bias. These guys have introduced me to some bourbons well under $50 that rival some of the allocated stuff people camp out or charge ridiculous prices for on the secondary market. Save your cash (spend it on Paterson supporting this show instead) and learn about some really good whiskeys that are readily available and you don’t have to mortgage the house for. Best bourbon podcast out there.

I started listening to the show and binged so much of it during lockdown. It has changed the way I look at whiskey. You can see an evolution of each of the guys as the episodes unfold. One of my favorites!

It is rare to find a podcast that after some time sticks to it’s original format and purpose. Not here! These guys keep it to tasting and talking about bourbon. Keep up the great work!!
