Episode 109: Join us as we chat with the ever so inspiring Azim Khamisa. Some of you may have heard of his story and his TED talk – he’s the man whose son was murdered while delivering a pizza. In this tragic story, we learn about Azim’s life, from before the murder to the path he had to take to get through his grief and trauma. Forgiveness pops up along the way as it does with all tragedies but this man takes it a step further. He makes an effort to get his son’s murderer out of jail earlier and hires him, while also developing a tender relationship with him and his grandfather. Awe-inspiring, Azim shares his tips and best practices as well as the path to that forgiveness we all need in our lives, both for others and in truth, for ourself as well.
