“I grew up listening to Bob. I looked forward to listening every day for years, and it became a part of my daily routine. There was no better place to get the best information and discussion surrounding the sports news of the day.
I’m reading some of the recent reviews that address Bob’s demeanour following his return to the show. I think this criticism is unfair and misplaced.
After a stroke occurs, we notice the physical consequences because they are the most obvious. However, the reality is that the effects can go far beyond what we can physically see.
I think it is a tremendous accomplishment that Bob has returned to the microphone. It demonstrates his commitment to us and his craft. I look forward to tuning in for all of the moments he has left to share with us.”
