“Finally. A commentary on the Bollywood film industry for those with mature perceptions about society, art and the world. I have found my people; Viewers that don’t exist in a Bollywood bubble, but simultaneously enjoy Hindi flicks as well as the latest English or global offerings in film, TV and pop culture.
For too long, we have pandered to the exclusive idea that Bollywood needs to appeal to the lowest common denominator. That may have been true 30-40 years ago. But the industry’s offerings are changing and catering to diverse audiences. It’s nice to hear these guys talk about acting, scripts, production without taking themselves too seriously or exhibiting arrogance. Now I can stay up-to-date about what’s going on in Bollywood without the scandals, politics and who has gained or lost weight or packs of abs.
A comment about the missing 5th star: I haven’t heard enough. My initial impression is that the team could have more fun with this cracking show: joke around, have fun and laugh! Best wishes!!”
