Smitten
I am smitten by this podcast. Completely worth the listen for those of us who love a bit of scholarly research in their macbre folklore and history. Actually, worth a second listen and sometimes third to catch all the details and references. And really, how can you go wrong when Dr. Paul Koudounaris shows up looking for a mummified feline or when Mark Norman chastises certain individuals about the incompatability of a barghest as a family pet? Love it!

Fascinating deep dives into those bits of folklore that you usually hear the same old cursory description of. Perfectly produced by a very knowledgeable host.

The content is always interesting and painstakingly researched. The hosts are quirky, but charming - never annoying. Their banter definitely adds to the show. I’ve listened to every episode and look forward to each new one. Give it a try!
