“I had been receiving Book Club Girl emails for some time before I decided to try the podcast. Imagine my surprise to find out how young the “Girls” are considering that I’m 70 and we read the same books! The formula for the episodes is perfect: synopsis, interview with questions and an audio excerpt. The Girls are excellent reviewers and are careful not to give away spoilers. They don’t put themselves too much into their interviews, but let the authors take the lead and say what they want to about their books. And the audio excerpt usually sells me on the book. One bit of constructive criticism—the *t* in often is silent. 😁”
