Middle-aged frat boys run amok.
The hosts of this podcast claim to be teachers of writing. Pity the students who draw these mean girls as instructors. I couldn’t stand to listen to very many doses of this show. Mostly they ridicule the student writers who ask questions of them. Honestly, these two fortyish mean girls could not stop laughing as they savaged new writers for their lack of—something. Not even sure what. When they’re not belittling young or new writers, they are holding surprisingly vapid discussions about the books they’ve read. Skip this one, folks. Go to Writing Excuses for help and inspiration. There are also lots of other podcasts for aspiring writers. Try them all. Leave this one in the boys’ bathroom where it belongs.
