“As an aspiring writer and author this is a ticket into an unknown world filled with stories and inspiration. I feel included and invited and there are so many good nuggets to chew on. Writing a book is just one part of this and I had no idea how much more there was to publishing a book. I especially didn’t know how big Amazon was on selling books, since I am in Europe, so this was valuable information! I have now delayed my own release so I can plan the marketing first and in the conversation with the publishers I feel much more confident knowing more what to expect, look out for and what to ask about.
However, there is a bad side, that pulls down the overall experience. The sound quality is often really bad, with echo, disappearing voices and background noise such as ringtones and computer programs beeping. Barking too, but that’s a part of their profile now and I personally don’t mind. They talk about being a professional and avoid typos, but in a podcast, not turning of the sound on your phones is extremely unprofessional.”
