“I used to really love this podcast but now I’d say that it’s less about books and more about everything else. They don’t seem to really do recommendations consistently anymore and some weeks there’s no Book News or Book Olds. I love hearing about Ariel and Raeleen’s lives, but I’d say actual discussion about books that isn’t in the form of a haul makes up less than 50% of each pod nowadays. I still enjoy listening because I like Ariel and Raeleen so much, but I would say this is more or less just two friends catching up.”
