“Quite difficult to sum up what this podcast is. They look at news articles about, for example, people who run zoos and got killed by their cassowary or what’s going on in the Netherlands. Sometimes they have a guy who’s an actual marine biologist to talk earnestly about fish? There’s always a cold open intro which bears no relation to the rest of the episode: some of these are genuine works of audio art, and some are like the recent “Pregnageddon”, a version of Children of Men where everyone is pregnant. It’s just a good show.”
