Delightful & casual
This podcast is funny and lighthearted and always delightful. Really the only downside is that it’s always hard to introduce new people to the podcast because they do random silly intros, which are fun, but confuse people who don’t expect it. Start with recent episodes rather than trying to start from the start, because originally it was an Australian politics podcast, which is naturally infuriating because of our relentlessly terrible governments at the time, even though the hosts have imo good political opinions. Only go right back if being reminded of Tony Abbott doesn’t seems like a bummer to you. Anyway the last several years of podcast are more “riffing about a news story about a ferret taking out the electric supply of Amsterdam by chewing a cable” sort of vibe, which is great.

I wanted to leave two stars but Andrew came to my house and held a gun to my head. I am literally being held hostage to write this review. Please send hel Ignore that. Everything is fine and normal. This show is very smart and will make your brain lovely and smooth.

Not socialists, not funny, unpleasant voices. Reminds me more of Pod Save America than the Chapo Trap House that they wish they were. If you enjoy immature primary school humour, and radlib politics that don't go further than Twitter culture wars, then this podcast might be for you.Read full review »
