An hopeful reminder
For the past eleven years I have lived a life across borders, with family and friends spread across the globe. I thrived on the idea of being a global citizen, learning from and giving back to different cultures. Then the pandemic reminded me of the burden of borders - which is such a stark reality for so many even in normal times - making that once easy trip home or to visit friends an impossible task. Borderline is a place for people whose identity straddle borders and a hopeful reminder that as global citizens we share more than what divides us.
