The Importance of Trust
I too am a lifelong insomniac. I find podcasts helpful in falling to sleep and this one has a very good premise and a pretty good execution. But when the subject is the Salem witch trials it undermines my confidence in the judgment of the reader. One is in a very vulnerable state when falling asleep and it is important to know that the thoughts that are being shared in a semi conscious state are harmless and benign. Witches do not fit that category and it makes me uncomfortable about the underlying motives of the program. CAUTION is advised.

I love the science books, astronomy for young folk, geology, book of birds, etc. Each night I use one episode, first time with 15 minutes sleep timer. I rotate among 4-5 sleep apps and this is by far my fave. Sharon’s voice is perfect—no vocal fry (pet peeve that keeps me from drifting off), just the right amount of hush without verging into ASMR-whispery territory.
