The Importance of Trust
I too am a lifelong insomniac. I find podcasts helpful in falling to sleep and this one has a very good premise and a pretty good execution. But when the subject is the Salem witch trials it undermines my confidence in the judgment of the reader. One is in a very vulnerable state when falling asleep and it is important to know that the thoughts that are being shared in a semi conscious state are harmless and benign. Witches do not fit that category and it makes me uncomfortable about the underlying motives of the program. CAUTION is advised.

I’ve a hearing disability and wear aids during the day. For sleep of course I do not. I find some of the episodes from 2020 and earlier are such low volume I cannot raise it enough to actually hear. I’ve been looking for a podcast like this for ages! The books are so obscure (but boring) they distract me from my own busy thoughts till I fall asleep.

The voice has too much urgency in it. Also there needs to be more space between sentences/words so the mind can slow down.
