“I follow BKP on Instagram and saw the bottle service bod last and got excited. I am 10 weeks and have had a rough first trimester, so I found the content relatable. I listened to the week 12 episode and around the 6 minute mark I had to turn off the podcast. She made a remark about her mom having a NIPT done where she tested positive for Down’s Syndrome and said, “and look how amazing and perfect I am.” What a gross thing to say to imply those with Down’s are somehow not amazing or perfect.
Even with the extremely insensitive ableist remark, the podcast is barely mediocre at best. There are far more entertaining and informative pregnancy related podcasts.”
