I like hip hop with my hip hop...
Ok, this podcast is a must have for anyone who often dabbles in heated debates over the evolution of hip hop. Don’t get it twisted, this is not your typical barbershop banter with a couple of people who haven’t done their research.... these ladies give you the whole menu!!! I truly enjoy their insight and unique perspective of southern hip hop culture. I have a greater appreciation for their take on things because I believe gender equity lacks tremendously in the round table discussions of hip hop. Their chemistry is organic and I find myself joining in on the conversation with my own take at times. Dr. Bradley’s natural ability to drop in and out of southern slang is effortless and rather cool. Finally, the intellectual ratchets of the world (much like myself) have finally found a home. I’m hoping to see this podcast grow into something special and I’m just glad I jumped on it from the start. Keep it up ladies! Great content. Great listen. Highly recommend.
