A hit of nostalgia and hilarity
Huge fan of this podcast, so much so that I subscribed to the Patreon in order to get hold of more episodes. Like the best movie review podcasts, in this case I don’t think you even need to see the films the host Stevie and his guests are discussing; a perfect alchemy of films of the sort and of the era being discussed means nothing is lost by hearing them talked about. Stevie and his guests are hilarious and it’s a joy to listen to them. In particular, the “Mates of Hell” strand on Patreon (discussing evermore obscure films by Lucio Fulci) and the “Dream Warriors” episodes (featuring Mike Muncer and Becky Darke) are a delight. Highly recommended!

Properly funny - like listening to dear, old friends be dazzlingly witty. If you’re a film fan - you will really enjoy the way Stevie and his guests lovingly discuss the glaring plot holes and questionable acting in some of the films..... genuinely interesting and full of nostalgia. Slugs!
