“Amanda and Marie are the PLC partners you always wanted (I must admit, my two current PLCS are pretty awesome, but you know we’ve been in those PLCS where we all just watch the clock tick tick by until it’s safe to say “see you later”). The ladies bring in levity and a realness that often goes unsaid in education. Administrators and district office “thou shalt gurus” should listen to the the teachers in the trenches starting with Amanda and Marie. I love that I feel like I’m in on the conversation and can take strategies to my classroom often times the next day. The ladies don’t just discuss what is wrong in education, but how we can make real changes to our digital classrooms to make it better for all the stakeholders. I have participated in the Down with the Reading Quiz master class as well as purchased the Curriculum Rehab course as well. I will show up for this PLC each week with a smile on my face and a mirror so I can hold my self accountable with a laugh and a possible adult beverage.
