I just replayed your third episode and let me just say... you guys are so relatable 😭 I will be student teaching this fall (whatever that entails) and I’ve been a little anxious about finishing, graduating, and finding a job through all of what the world is going through. At times, I have felt like a fraud because I haven’t read all of the classics, I haven’t written the most perfect papers, and I don’t always have time on my hands to read billions of novels. Once you both shared your teaching career and experiences, a huge pressure was lifted off of my shoulders. You guys are so right—I don’t have to be perfect at all things English, and I should always be learning and trying new things! You two are lifesavers and I love listening to your podcast.
