Brave new teaching: could not get through the first episode. Too much obvious discussion of what it takes to be a teacher. The episode pretty much talks about how to be a proper human, which is mostly common sense items like not being stubborn and being open-minded to other ways of doing things. The podcast was turned off immediately when I head an English teacher say “I can’t even...” Lol I need a podcast with some real discussion about education, not just “ I don’t know how to let go of a textbook from my curriculum”

I listen to Marie and Amanda every single week and always feel more inspired. They are down to earth, funny, and give me a realistic dose of how to improve my teaching. My only suggestion is to consider all the interruptions. Marie often cuts off Amanda and the other guests. Otherwise, it’s great.
