“Love the podcast! However, your guest this past episode used the word “transgendered” in reference to a transgender model. At least twice. I cringed. Transgender is an adjective, should never be used as a noun and also should never be have ‘ed’ added to it, from a grammar and respect standpoint. You don’t say “gayed” or “latina-ed” or “whited.”
This review was originally a 5 Star with just some feedback on transgender terminology, but after finishing the episode I’m revising. A body positivity episode ended with everyone talking about how bad they looked that day and a comment about how Amy Winehouse “looked as messed up as she was” to a roomful of laughter as a response. Disrespecting yourselves and then a musician who died after long struggling addiction is not a good look.”

“They have GREAT guests and do an amazing job at summarizing and having the guest tell the story themselves.
