Breakout with Newt Gingrich – Newt Interviews Philip Howard, Author of “The Rule of Nobody”
Listen now
Description
In this episode of the Breakout with Newt Gingrich podcast, Newt interviews Philip Howard, the author of The Rule of Nobody and the founder of Common Good, a nonpartisan national coalition dedicated to restoring common sense to America. In The Rule of Nobody, Philip discusses how bureaucracy and regulations are choking the country by stifling progress and limiting the ability of government to fix crumbling infrastructure due to outdated laws and regulations. These laws and regulations add enormous costs to projects, which take years to finish, instead of months. Reform leaders within government continue to remain pinned down by layer upon layer of bureaucracy that is trying to maintain the status quo and protect a civil service model that has been in need of an overhaul for decades.
