If the federal government were actually serious about a revival of NASA and our space program, it would create a prize model. With all of the money our federal agencies waste on a yearly basis, it should instead entice entrepreneurs to create solutions that restore the American space program to the position of prominence it held for so many years. Companies like SpaceX have already begun to reach into space, giving us a glimpse of what the future of space travel holds. In the 21st century, it is likely that a company such as SpaceX will allow us to explore further into space than we could ever imagine.
