Guests are great, host is entitled
The guests are mostly great: nuanced, insightful, honest and compelling. Skip Ashley’s episodes. She reeks of someone who got pregnant very quickly and now feels entitled. (Even her ‘wait’ for a second ended up being just a year). Hearing her bemoan having a boy too was particularly difficult when so many women out there struggle to just bring home one healthy baby, she comes across as incredibly insensitive, not self aware at all and so ungrateful. I had to rewind her first birth story to try and work out where things went wrong and I genuinely couldn’t put my finger on it. Sorry, but please check your privilege.

Ashley’s honesty is refreshing and so important in our filtered highlight culture.

Called ‘British Birth Stories’ but it’s very obvious and clearly stated by Ashley that she doesn’t like London or the uk and slates the nhs and harps on about her private health care and that’s still not good enough for her
