“It is either that the format is so short (20 minutes0 or the topic too dense to tell in 20 mn, but this podcast, as a speed reading soliloquy of the hostess, fails to keep my attention. History is a dense topic, and trying to tell at full speed in 15 minutes British history in disparate bits and pieces is an insane enterprise. It is a podcast, so, yes, you can rewind, but..If I want to learn something- and not lose track of who is who- a book will do the job better -and just as dryly. Very sorry.”

“Found this by accident and thought I would give it a try. The host has a bad habit of stopping and smacking/swallowing mid sentence. It’s so off putting when you are listening. I listening to two episodes and she did it in both the whole way through.
