Talented hosts; unsure direction
I really like both Brooke and Connor. They’re significantly more relatable than Cody, Noel, Emil, and Ben—they’re my age, haven’t been celebrities for long, and just like, normal young people! (Also, Brooke is Ashkenazi, so we’re related!) That said, I’m still unsure what the “point” of their podcast is. I know it’s still defining itself in its early weeks, but I’m not sure what the podcast’s target audience, content, etc. is going to make itself into. Neither host is a comedian, per se, nor are they some sort of professional with specific context or insight to build a show from. This isn’t supposed to be a knock on their creative potential; in fact, I’m sure B and C would’ve been perfect talk radio hosts (think Mojo in the Morning). I really hope the show defines itself; otherwise, it may fade away like most other podcasts.
