Denver is considering changes to its Expanding Housing Affordability ordinances that would extend deadlines for developers. Adopted in June 2022, the ordinances require both for-rent and for-sale projects with 10 or more multifamily units to either include affordable housing options or pay a fee in lieu and require commercial projects pay linkage fees.
