“I have been listening to this show since 2016, I have gone to events, bought merch, and have religiously told other people who enjoy Buffy to listen to this show. I was happy to see Kristin and Jenny include new dynamics and conversation to the show where BLM is concerned and don’t really mind the political speak, I actually find it that much more informative. However this 7th season has been extremely difficult to listen to, to the point where I’ve had to pull out my ear buds and take a big sigh. Buffy is the main character, she is our leader, and the way that they’ve been piling on her “behavior” this season is unbearable. I feel like they’ve forgotten entirely how much she’s been through, what she’s sacrificed for the scoobies/world and what it means to be a slayer. Empty Places was the last straw for me. I know we need to criticize our heroes but to this extent makes me feel like saying “dude do you even like the show?” Other than this hot take, the interviews and content are well worth the listen for the first several seasons.”
