“I’ve always liked Helen Daley as a journalist and was keen to get into her new podcast. Unfortunately I don’t think she has (as yet) adapted to the long-form podcast interview style.
Her guests are great and I love the Australian focus. Trouble is, Helen’s questioning style seems to be looking for the “bite sized” response to form questions rather than deep-diving into subjects of interest. I think this leaves a lot of good material undiscovered and I find she is too keen to move onto the next question.
I hope this can be addressed as I think this podcast has good bones.”
