“I just want to thank you and Tess for the encouragement at the end of the story. I am currently 40+5 with my first and impending an induction at a hospital with my OB in 4 days. My plan was to go unmedicated, go into spontaneous labor and labor at home as long as possible but my OB insists on inducing.
Being so heartbroken and feel that all of my homework and research over the last few months has gone to waste, it was great to hear the great message at the end. I am a wreck! Feeling frustrated with my body (my cervix is poster and hasn’t budged) even after doing all the things to try and prep my cervix over the last 11 weeks, it was so great to hear this it is ok to not be ok! So many emotions rolling through my head and feeling the pressure from my OB and feeling not listened to is hard!
I want to thank you and your podcast for helping me feel positive and encouraged to keep my head up.”
