Decent, but annoying
The atmosphere and setting created is great. I also love the metaphors used to illustrate what’s going on. However, the way the main character/narrator is written can be really annoying. Her whining about killing Bullet when there a crap ton of gunslingers on the way is just dumb. Even at nine years old, a child can know the odds of success and living are slim to none when you’re outnumbered. And she knows she’s not fully trained and slow, so how she thinks she’d kill a seasoned professional is beyond me. A better angle would have been to have her frustrated at the outcome versus “Ya can’t. He’s right there.” Scenes and commentary like this are enough to make me quit the show due to sheer irritation.

At first I wasn’t in to it, but I decided to listen to the first episode again and I was sold. I’m glad they made multiple seasons. The storyline isn’t predictable except that they always find a way to survive.
