Concealed carry permits are rising. FOX's Eben Brown has your 'FOX Bullet Points': I'm Eben Brown. More and more of you are getting your concealed carry permits. A compilation of the number of applications by the Crime Prevention Research Center says the number of concealed weapons licenses in the United States now exceeds 15 million, almost 16 million. The center will have its yearly data ready this summer. But it shows what other record-keepers at places like the NRA have been saying: The number of women getting their concealed carry permits is far greater than the number of men. Big problem with concealed carry and personal information in Florida. The sunshine state has well over a million and a half permits issued, but hackers may have stolen the private data of about 16,000 people. The state's agriculturedepartment, which manages the permit program, says they'll offer free credit monitoring for about 500 people they know they're social security numbers may have been stolen.
