He share his story how he came to Hawaii and his time playing for the Rainbow Warriors Born Guilherme Voss Messias dos Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Played beach volleyball at 10 and transitioned to indoor volleyball at 14 Lived in Sugarland, Texas from 2006-10 Has one older brother Parents are Luiz Santos and Denise Carvalho of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil National Team: Played for the Brazil Junior National team from 2016-19 Helped Brazil to a third place finish at the U21 World Championship and was selected as the Best Middle Blocker Also led Brazil to a title at the U21 South American Championship Prep: A 2017 graduate of Colegio Teresiano in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Played club volleyball for C.R. Flamengo from 2014-17 and SADA Cruzeiro in 2018 Helped C.R. Flamengo to the National Championship from 2015-17 and earned Best Hitter in 2015 and ’16 Received offers from BYU, UC Irvine, NJIT, and British Columbia
