“truly all over the place. in a bad way. going from Busy talking about how her child will be going to a public school for a magnet program (one should look up how those who go from private schools one day a week or for one program is rooted in very racist school practices)— then a second later Busy wants to relate finding pennies to a video game.
please let your other hosts speak more? I would have loved to hear how Shantira feels in situations Busy turns back on herself.. (ex: when she talked about how nerve wracking being in NBC offices were without any feedback on why she might have felt that but Busy saying she was in an elevator where she had to act like her dress was on sale.) (Busy, it’s fine most of us but $20 dresses and it isn’t an issue to require social justice language) anyways! bought Busy’s book and loved it but I don’t think this is the same person who saw struggles and can really relate to a worldwide pandemic where people are getting evicted, police are brutalizing young brown and black protesters, and America is showing how terrible we have always been. :/ (here’s wishing I had a different reaction)
this podcast isn’t helping or relatable to any of the current times.”
