Once Good now an Infomercial
At one time this podcast featured people of interest to the running community. Some runners, some non-runners, some well known and some not known or at least until the podcast aired, but most were absorbing and had something to share with the listeners. Recently most episodes devolved into a hype for Generation UCAN, sometimes clumsily and awkwardly forcing the subject of UCAN into the conversation. I actually like the product and use it religiously and I understand the need to get sponsors for what amounts to free content. However I would rather listen to a commercial then listen to contrived conversations. The most recent episode with the founder of Goodr was more than I am willing to listen to. So for now I’ll select only episodes with guests I have heard of and see how that goes. This is a shame because I do like learning to people I am not familiar with.
