An inspiring beginning
Don't judge a book by it's cover. Are you like me and see"FREE" and think, "it can't be that good"? Well think again! This book is captivating from the very beginning. With characters to sink your mental teeth into and imagery that inspires, you won't be disappointed with this one. Even the the obligatory "meet the characters" and "set the scene" portion of the book are both entertaining and rewarding. Do yourself a favour and give this one a go (and don't forget the two books that follow - it just gets better and better!)

I can't comment on the story because I really couldn't even make it past the first few minutes of his terribly flat voice that kept carrying the syllables out soooo loooong that I couldn't take it. And I've listened to some badly read podiobooks before.

I thought it was a good book. I just downloaded the next one. Brian's reading is a bit rough but if you can get past that it's a good book.
