4/5 would recommend a listen
I liked the story premise a lot, but I have some problems. The story was compelling and interesting, and the characters were the same. But the pacing felt off, and I understand that it is supposed to be a set of recordings that take place varying amounts of time apart, but it felt like they we’re trying to fit a whole lot of information into a very small amount of play time. The ending was abrupt and unexpected, but in an anticlimactic way and not a very surprising way. I think that this could have been better if I was stretched out a bit. Now for the spoilers part, so if you haven’t listened stop reading. I was a little disappointed about not being able to find out anything about what was actually down there, and the discovery, even though it was a turning point in the storyline, was too quick. Also the characters were acting (in my opinion) way too erratically, almost unrealistically so. The story would have been more satisfying if they had maybe tried to explore or explain what they found. For all we know it could have been some weird magnetic plus or something, that sent off a signal and distracted the guy who fell, and then everyone just went crazy afterwards. I’m not a professional, just giving my opinion, and I thought it was pretty good.
