In this episode, Nigel speaks to American filmmaker Chris Danuser, co-writer and co-director of the intense drama ‘Pap’s Manifesto’. This film follows a vengeful father grieving the loss of his son while on deployment in Afghanistan, who hatches a plot to bomb a mosque. The film touches on issues of hatred, loss and redemption, which Chris Danuser hopes to explore via his production company Sparkyboom LLC. Chris takes us on the film’s journey to the screen and helps us get to grips with his mission to explore the history and legacy of the American south through film.
