Best Practice for Leadership TrainingFrom Kim Aycock
We all know staff training is important to camp success. As part of training, perhaps you can develop an internal certification program as a way to recognize the training your staff takes. Level one certification can be mandatory training required for all staff and level two certificates can focus on specific training and can be optional. Those who take part in the optional certificate programs can be eligible for leadership opportunities and can proudly show off their skills with pins or stickers to show what certificates they have completed.
