The donkey story is not true. I hope there’s much more about it from the students on central campus.Even the part about the cigarette burns. There where no cigarettes for the students or staff on campus. The staff may have had a smoking room. The rules where strict.
Personally, I spoke to many guys that where at this campus George the donkey was on. It’s inappropriate to say a rumor or disgusting thoughts on this matter. It’s damaging and adds salt to any wounds to the students from Annewakee.
Also this was not a camp it was a school and therapeutic long term place for kids and teens to go to. Average stay was 2 years or a little more. Some way longer.
This is no way is criticizing anyone this is simply to add to the actual facts for anyone that’s horrified at this point and also standing up for all of the students after many of us have discussed the first episode. Thank you kindly for not removing this we still have a voice. Please do not delete this .”
