“I grew up right next to Douglasville, and like another reviewer, heard rumors. We also had someone at our church who worked there. After everything blew up, they moved away. I was really too young to understand what was going on.
I really appreciate the survivors sharing their stories. I knew someone who was a resident there and just said it was “ Bad”
. It makes me sick that it went on for so long, people had suspicions, no one did anything. I guess that was rural Georgia in the 70s and 80s.”
