Finally... our story
I was at Anneewakee from 1984-1987. I am 51 years old and the years I spent there, the slave labor the physical mental and sexual abuse absolutely broke many but we are still here. They told us we were bad kids that nobody would believe and now 37 years later in my case, we will be heard and these monsters exposed.

I tried to look up the Poetters online. Can’t find any images. Their family did a good job at erasing whatever may have been online of their sicko parents. I hope the boys under their care found peace and was able to live their life to the fullest despite their traumatic experience at that camp.
